Personal Trainer for Women magazine - Life's an adventure
In April/May's issue of Personal Trainer for Women magazine, they ran an article called 'Life's an adventure' on one of Maximuscle's female Sponsor's, extreme climber, Bean Sopwith, which goes into detail about her experience as a climber and how her and her partner, Mike Weeks recently whipped Jack Osbourne into shape for ITV 2 (Oct 2005) in a programme called 'Adrenaline Junkie', plus some of her own amazing achievements within her sport.
The article covers how she got into climbing and how her passion for the sport has now led her and her partner to begin working with Jack Osbourne again for a new series called 'The Hard Way round' to be aired on ITV 1 later in the year, in which they look to put themselves and Jack through extreme sporting challanges taking them around the world!
Sports Nutrition is also an area that is very important to Bean and one which she works closely with Maximuscle on and has seen great benefits to her sport, especially within the areas of strength, stamina and energy. " A good protein intake and supplements are vital for recovery" " I use Maximuscle's Promax Natural, which is a powder you can add to food like cottage cheese or cereal and if I add it to my morning porridge, it keeps me going for ages" " I start the day with porridge and Promax Natural, An afternoon snack would be Promax Natural mixed with Cottage Cheese on an oatcake" "Their Protrient, which are high quality multi-vitamins, are really good, she says, then one a month I take Iron Kick for about a week as Women tend to forget that you can lose iron through menstration" " I snack on Promax Diet Bars. they are high in protein and are a really good, satisfing snack. If I feel sluggish after work I drink Viper or Viper Extreme, which are great high energy drinks"
They show images of Bean climbing plus include Maximuscle's contact details and new Women's site, www.maxiwomen.com
