On Saturday the 4th June 2005, the record books were re-written as the Maximuscle sponsored Saints literally ran riot over Bradford Bulls in their own back yard to their largest ever away league win, with the score board lighting up the numbers Bradford Bulls 4- Saints 66 at the Odsal Stadium. The Saints were unstoppable throughout, showing off an unrivalled exhibition of pace, power, skill and attitude that will rank amongst the very best in the clubs long history within Rugby League, helped out by the unstoppable pace of Jamie Lyon helping to ensure that the Saints were in constant attack. The Saints are now two points behind the current leaders, Leeds Rhino’s, but the question many are asking after such an exhibition of perfect rugby, is for how long?
