Maximuscle sponsored Hull steal's Victory by one point to become Champions!
On Saturday 27th August 2005 Hull FC the team very much viewed as inferior to Leeds took victory by one point, with the final score reading Hull 25 Leeds 24 to become Powergen Champions in the final of the Powergen Challenge Cup 2005, the showcase of Rugby League, in a game where the men of Hull played with bravery, defiance and huge amounts of sheer passion as they showed off their rugby league skills inside the Cardiff Millennium Stadium, amongst a huge crowd who witnessed a fantastic and nail biting game of Rugby where the Hull players dug deep to become Victorious and show Leeds what they were really made of and that they hadn't intended to return home empty handed!
Maximuscle has been working with Hull throughout this season after being approached by their Fitness Coach, Billy Mallinson who wanted to work a Sports Nutritional Company like Maximuscle, who were already having success working alongside teams in both League and Union such as St.Helen's and London Wasps and wanted to ensure his players used quality nutritional products that would cover their nutritional requirements to enable his team to perform at their very best throughout this season's intense training regime as they got ready to play in the Powergen Challenge Cup and ensured that they stayed strong and powerful and recovered quickly so that they were able to put in 100% every time they played a match, as the team only had one goal in mind and that was to become Champions for 2005!
